Dear Coaches/Advisors,
Thank you for registering for this year's CWCC! We are very excited to have you at our annual competition and want to do everything we can to make it a fun-filled, memorable event for you and your teams.
Location: Morinville Leisure Centre, 25126 SH 642, Sturgeon County, AB. (15 min north of St. Albert, AB)
Waivers: All participating athletes & alternates are required to fill out a waiver.
Spectator Tickets: Spectators will be required to purchase an event wristband before entering. Wristbands will be on sale throughout the day for $15/day or $20/all access pass. Children 2 and under may enter at no charge.
Spectator Seating: The majority of seating is located on chairs in the main floor field house, with limited seating available in the upper level. Both areas will require a wristband for entry.
Merchandise: The CWCC features plenty of great cheer merchandise, apparel, and exclusive event only items! Cheerific offers subscriptions to Cheerific.TV as well as digital files of your performance.
Concession: A concession will be available throughout the day. NO food or beverages are permitted in the field house, with the exception of water in a non breakable, sealable container.
Team Registration: Be sure to register after you have your entire team gathered. You will be directed to your team rooms from there. No parents are permitted into these rooms or any warm up spaces. Note that all belongings will be in a shared space with other teams and that Cheerific, nor the MLC, will be held responsible for any lost items. Please leave all valuables at home.
Music: Coaches will be in charge of playing their own music. Please ensure that your airplane mode is turned ON, and that the volume is turned all the way up! BYOD - Bring your own dongle for iPhones!
Team Seating: There will be seating around the performance surface on the floor for athletes. Please leave any chairs and bleachers for paying spectators only. Coaches will have reserved chairs available for their convenience.
Warm Up & Performance Surfaces: Teams must arrive by their designated check in time. The warm up area consists of non-sprung mats as follows: 2 mats for stunting, 1 strip for tumbling and a full 7-mat floor for routines. Our competition surface also consists of a 7-mat floor.
First Aid: will be located in the warm up area, within easy access onto the main competition floor.
Instant Video Replay: Teams will enjoy an instant video playback directly following their performance.
Score Check: In order to run timely events, please ensure to have a coach visit the score check station on the upper level adjacent to the judges, within 10 minutes following your performance. Coaches will have 15 minutes to submit an appeal once their scores are ready.
Awards: We offer medals and banners for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each division. Teams that Hit Zero will be provided with pins from the score check station should they qualify.
Parking: There is ample free parking in front of the facility.
